There are two reasons a dishwasher is leaking water. The most common reason is that there’s a problem with the door closure or latch and it will need a replacement. Another cause is a failed water inlet valve that will need to be fixed immediately upon our arrival to your house. We have the parts to fix GE, Whirlpool, Kenmore and common brands of dishwashers.
In the event a dishwasher will not start or turn on, you be sure the dishwasher is plugged in and that none of the circuit breakers tripped. If this isn’t the issue, then the problem could be coming from the door closure switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.
Your dishwasher is supposed to fill with water and then drain water after the dishes are clean. Your dishwasher doesn’t fill when there’s a broken door switch or float switch or broken water inlet valve. Your dishwasher won’t drain when there’s a malfunctioning drain pump motor or drain hose on the unit.
A dishwasher isn’t of much use if the dishes are always dirty after a cycle. The dishes could still be dirty if there’s a broken housing gasket, water tube or filter or spray arm. We have parts available to repair dishwasher issues in no time.
The reasons to own a dishwasher is for the appliance to both wash and dry dishes. You do not want to hand dry dishes following a cycle. A dishwasher doesn’t dry if there’s a broken rinse aid dispenser, heating element or thermostat. We can repair or replace parts for the drying functions of all types of dishwashers.
For a dishwasher to be able to wash dishes, it should be able to dispense soap or detergent inside of the machine. This will not occur if there’s a broken timer, bi-metal release or wax motor.
